The word Travel has many meanings – journey, tour, take a trip etc.

Usually Business people, Medical Representatives, Sales men travel frequently - on duty. They travel by bus, train and aircrafts. Their Tickets and Hotels are booked by the concerned departments in their work place in advance.

Common men make a trip during Summer Holidays for their children. They visit holy places with family. Most of the holy places, in India, are located on Holy River banks. Eg. Kasi, Prayag, Haridwar, Sri Rangam etc.

Indian Railways is providing Special Tourist Trains at cheaper rates for these trips. Tamil Nadu Government Tourism is providing Special Tourist Buses, to places where the Train service is not available.

There are Traveling Agents, who book tickets in advance and take in charge of everything required for the tourists and make the trip a carefree and enjoyable one.

Ticket Booking: Advance ticket booking is available online using Credit / Debit Cards and Net Banking.

For Foreigners, who visit India – Travel Agents Plan trips – in Luxury Buses / Trains and show them most historical places such as Tajmahal, Mahabalipuram, Goa and many more which are of interest to them.

Usually Foreigners stay in Five star / three star hotels. For those who do not find accommodation in hotels, Residents of Delhi, have now started B & B. i.e. Bread & Breakfast (cooked fresh food) along with furnished Rooms at a cheaper rate.

Traveling and visiting new places (skipping away from routine work), now and then, will energize and is good for health. Hence it is recommended for everyone irrespective of age.
